~*~ 6 ~*~ Recycling Mothers

Its Prize Time!!!

Hi everybody im so thrilled to see some new faces last week entering the challenges,
This is week an extra special week for us!
Firstly one of the Design Team Members has chosen the Theme this week But there is a twist! myself & A couple of Other Design Team members really wanted to do Mother's Day Early, So The Theme will be Mother's Day and ALSO we are using Deb's Theme ,

Here is what Deb is asking you all to do this week...

I have had lots of ideas but the one I like the most is Recycling! Because I am a huge recycling freak I thought it would be good to have a challenge where you have to use an item that has had a former life.
It could be a piece of card or paper from some packaging, cereal box card made into chipboard letters or shapes, ribbon taken from an article of clothing or chocolate box, old buttons taken from a garment etc.

So This week we would love to see your Mothers Day Art Work involving Recycling along with of course Magnolia stamps.

Now there is For the " Special bit of the challenge"

Sally from Bootifulstampz has kindly donated a prize to us , so to be in for a chance to win these fabulous prizes, which is all brand new & Sealed, is 1 Jet Black Stazon, 1 Magnolia Stamp & One her own Custom Bunny Stamps. which you can purchase from her store Bootifulstampz

So if you want to win the above prize read the details below!

To be in for a chance to win this Fabulous prize your Art work must include the use of magnolia stamp(s) and also must include the challenge this week "Recycling Mothers days"
Also this must be new work! We do not want to see the work you do for this Entry used in any other challenge! and it must be brand new work not work that has been submitted elsewhere before! ( we will be checking & we find out its been used else where we will have to withdraw your entry from the comp!)

Entrys must be in by Sunday 10am (uk Time) To qualify for entry into the comp! Winner will be announced on Sunday when the next Challenge goes up!

Everyone is welcome to join in, we will ship the prize anywhere in the world!

Please remember to check back here next Sunday to see who the winner is! it could be you!!! ,
If it is you, you will have until Wednesday to get in touch with your mailing details, if we do not hear from you then we will pick another winner!

Entry's must be placed onto your blog,Gallery, photobucket etc if you do not have these than once again email us and we shall post on the blog for you but please!
if you do have a blog or a way of hosting please do this yourself!

( Please note!!! because your blog wont let you upload a picture for some reason at that time, then please contact your host ie Blogger! or Your galley host etc!, We can not host your work for your because of this as it isn't fair on other readers! this is strictly for those people who do not have a way at all to showcase there work!)

Here is the Design Teams Work.....

Claudia
I have showcased Claudia's work into a slide, Only because she has so many pages to show you all, and i feel you should all see her lovely work & not just a snip of it.

Claudia's Recycling: Has used a Bamboo stick from her kitchen on the spine of the album, along with a Old Hair Band to hold the pages inside the album. Along

Donna
Donna's Recycling: I have used an Old purple piece of chain that was on a cheap Handbag that had been thrown out.

Andrea
Andrea's Recycling: The blue backing card is recycled from my daughter's shoe box.

Katharina
Katharina's Recycling: I have used an old Chocolate Box & Bag.

Annie
Annie's Recycling: My recycled piece is the plain oval behind Tilda which is from the back of a shop card I was sent.

Leann
Leann's Recycling: The recycled bit is the mountboard I used to make the box, I found out that a local picture framing place throws out the middle bit of the mounting frames they make.

Sharon
Sharon's Recycling: I have recycled a frankfurter jar and made it into a vase as a gift for Mother's Day.

Deb
Deb's Recycling: A ribbon from a box of Thornton's chocolates and buttons from an old dress of one of my girls.

Alex

Alex's Recycling: I used some pink paper sort of like mulberry paper i think , that my bouquet of flowers came in, to do the bow.

Please don't forget to check out the Design Teams Blogs for more in depth Details of how they archived there work!

So enjoying doing these challenges - have opened a Picturetrail especially for them!!!

This one made me grimace at first cause Ijust thought what on earth can I do but then ideas started forming and I had a fantastic time making my card.

I used the inners from envelopes to make the heart (iris folded) and Tilda's clothes.

Thanks for setting these challenges - they are great fun.

My card is at...
